Girls Swimming First Team

KELLY CARROLL Fr. Great Valley -- Won the bronze medal in the 100-yard breaststroke and placed sixth in the 200 IM at the PIAA Class AAA championships. At the District 1 Class AAA championships, she was gold medalist in the 100 breast and finished tied for third in the 200 IM.
ANNA CONNOLLY Jr. Conestoga -- Placed seventh in the 200-yard IM and 20th in the 100 butterfly at the PIAA Class AAA championships. Connolly was silver medalist in the IM and tied for sixth place in the 100 butterfly at the District 1 Class AAA championships.

RACHEL GADZICKI Jr. Owen J. Roberts -- Took 12th place in the 100-yard freestyle and finished 18th in the 200 freestyle at the PIAA Class AAA championships. She also placed third in the 200 free and sixth in the 100 free at the District 1 Class AAA championships.

MEG GARVEY Soph. Villa Maria -- Captured fourth place in the 100-yard butterfly and 18th place in the 500 freestyle at the PIAA Class AA championships. Garvey took the gold medal in the 500 free and was silver medalist in the 100 fly at the District 1 Class AA championships.

KELSEY LAFFERTY Fr. Kennett -- Made it to the consolation finals and finished 12th in the 100-yard backstroke at the PIAA Class AAA championships. The talented newcomer also captured the bronze medal in the same event at the District 1 Class AAA championships.

LAURA MCLAUGHLIN Jr. West Chester Rustin -- Placed seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke at the PIAA Class AA championships. McLaughlin also finished third in the 100 breast and 17th in the 200 IM at the District 1 Class AA championships.

SAM PALSER Sr. Downingtown East -- Finished third in the 50-yard freestyle and fifth in the 100 freestyle at the PIAA Class AAA championships and took second in the 50 free and second in the 100 free at the District 1 Class AAA championships.

DANIELLE SIVERLING Fr. Downingtown East -- Took ninth in the 200-yard freestyle and 15th in the 100 free at the PIAA Class AAA championships. She also placed fifth in the 200 free and fifth in the 100 freestyle at the District 1 Class AAA championships.

HILLARY YAROSH Soph. Unionville -- Walked away with ninth place in the 100-yard butterfly and 12th place in the 100 freestyle at the PIAA Class AAA championships. Yarosh was bronze medalist in the 100 butterfly and took 10th place in the 100 free at the District 1 Class AAA championships.
