Do you want to explore your creative side, show off your skills or just make a statement? Are you into music and/or videos? Do you just wanna have fun?
If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, you’ll want to enter the “Make a Video for The Domino Theory” contest presented by Creep Industires and PhoenixvilleNews.com.
The Domino Theory, described as an alternative pop/punk rock band, based in Chester County, is looking to make a debut video for their first full-length album with Creep Records. The song they’re targeting for video ideas is “The Dash.”
The contest will run until Sunday, July 19.
After that, a committee formed from staff at The Phoenix, members of The Domino Theory and Arik Victor, manager of Creep Records, will pick the winning entry. The person who submitted the idea will be able to sit in on the shoot and can even be in it.
The video will be shot and edited by The Phoenix’s online editor and videographer, Matt Byrd. Eventually, it will be posted to www.phoenixvillenews.com, YouTube, the band’s and Creep’s sites, and various other media outlets where the winner can point to it and tell anyone who will listen, “That was my idea!”
The winning idea will be one that is a “testament” to the do-it-yourself skills and creativity of everyone involved who understand the monitary limitations of independent music and film.
