Professional writer to visit Upper Perk library

Do you have a story to tell? Have you ever thought about becoming a writer?

You’re invited to take advantage of a rare opportunity. In January, the Upper Perkiomen Valley Library (East Greenville, PA) will host a visitor that you don’t want to miss. JONATHAN MABERRY is a multiple Bram Stoker Award-winning author. He is a professional writer and writing teacher and since 1979 has sold more than 1100 articles, eighteen nonfiction books, six novels, as well as short stories, poetry, song lyrics, video scripts, greeting cards, and two plays.

Most importantly, he is sincere in sharing his how-to knowledge of the writing a publishing business. Learn valuable insight like: What's involved and how to go about getting an agent; How do I know if my piece will sell, and if it does, who will buy it.

Come join us on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 in the Library’s downstairs community room. This program is free and open to the public.
