Ancient Footprints

At the Morgan Loghouse, a structure in Towamencin Township that was built centuries ago, there are many things to see that are of interest to historians, notably displays and artifacts from when Pennsylvania was still an English colony.
There is another artifact there, older than any of the historic artifacts, older than the house itself. It predates our continent.
There are rectangular stepping stones around the front of the building made of local shale, which is essentially millions of years old mud that has turned to rock. Something walked on it while it was still mud, and it left a clear mark, a footprint, a dinosaur track. Or is it? Go see.
