The New Old

I have been a photographer at The Reporter for decades. Long enough now, I think for some of my photos to qualify as "historic" or even "vintage". I noticed it when I was looking at a display of memorabilia and photos from a local history organization and when I looked a little closer at one of the old, yellowed pictures, I saw my own name on the byline.
Here is an example, the top photo was shot back in the late 70's ( thats NINETEEN 70's, gimme a break!) of the one room schoolhouse on Morris Road in Whitpain Township that ran in the pages of The Reporter for a history story. The bottom photo is the same building today, published here for the first time, or seen for the first time. I'm not sure if inclusion in a blog is considered published. I'll find some other examples to put here soon.

Just think Geoff, one day the photos of you will also be vintage. It's nice to see that the old schoolhouse looks like it is being taken care of now.
Geoff- I have enjoyed your photography for years- long life to you!
