Murray was the most dominant pitcher in the Pioneer Athletic Conference going 10-1 with an ERA of .048, while averaging nine strikeouts per game.

C JASON HUNTER SR W.C. RUSTIN
The Golden Knights’ leader hit .369 with a slugging percentage of .585 with three home runs, 18 RBIs and 25 hits. Hunter also threw out five runners attempting to steal.

IF DEREK HERBINE SR D’TOWN EAST
The Cougars’ middle infielder hit .476 while banging out 31 hits, knocking in 18 runs and stealing 15 bases.

IF STEVE RICHTER SR CONESTOGA
The captain of the Pioneers, Richter batted .464 with 33 RBIs and 11 extra base hits and was very good defensively with the best arm in the Central League.

IF JOE WENDLE SR AVON GROVE
Besides being a great fielder, Wendle hit .427 with nine doubles and 13 RBIs and also scored 30 runs.

IF STEVE SNYDER JR W.C. EAST
The Vikings’ catalyst hit a robust .464 while knocking in 11 runs, scoring 16 runs and had an on-base percentage of .567.

OF CHRIS GOSIK JR MALVERN PREP
Gosik had a monster season, hitting .508 with a school record 11 home runs and knocking in 56 runs. Gosik also tallied 12 doubles.

OF PETE HISSEY SR UNIONVILLE
A fourth-round pick of the Boston Red Sox, Hissey hit .509, scored 28 runs and knocked in 15 more.

OF JAKE HOFFSTEIN JR AVON GROVE
As the Red Devils’ leadoff man, the junior hit .367 with two doubles and two triples and scored 28 runs.

DH BRANDON SNYDER SR AVON GROVE
Besides being an effective pitcher, Snyder hit .459 with three home runs and 32 RBIs.
