The Knights’ jumping ace placed second in triple jump at the District 1 Class AAA Championships and followed with an eighth-place finish in triple jump at the PIAA Class AAA Championships.
CHRIS BODARY SR BISHOP SHANAHAN
The Eagles’ distance ace captured the sixth-place medal in the 1,600-meter run at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. He also took the silver medal in the 3,200 at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.
RYAN BRUMFIELD FR OWEN J. ROBERTS
The Wildcats’ rookie finished in a tie – with five other jumpers -- for 13th place in high jump at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. Brumfield came through with a fourth-place finish in high jump at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.
ANDREW CARR SR PHOENIXVILLE
The veteran Phantom thrower claimed the seventh-place medal in shot put at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. He placed fourth in the same event at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.
BLAKE DAVENPORT SOPH KENNETT
The Blue Demons’ weight specialist took 12th place in discus at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. He was bronze medalist in discus and placed eighth in shot put at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.
ANDREW FINLEY SR MALVERN PREP
The Friars’ veteran throw specialist captured the gold medal in shot put at the Inter-Ac League Championships with a heave of 53-6. If Malvern were a PIAA school and Finley been able to compete at the District 1 Class AAA Championships, he would have won the bronze medal.
JIMMY HOMOLA SOPH OXFORD
The Hornets’ young prospect finished 15th in pole vault at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. One week earlier, Homola snagged the fourth-place medal in pole vault at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.
ROB LOHR SR PHOENIXVILLE
The Phantoms’ standout thrower placed 14th in discus and 20th in javelin at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. Lohr posted a silver-medal finish in discus and a bronze medal finish in javelin one week earlier at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.
DAN McCULLOUGH SR W.C. RUSTIN
The Knights’ jumping veteran took 14th place in triple jump at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. He won the bronze medal in triple jump and finished 16th in long jump at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.
TONY SHIRK SR PHOENIXVILLE
The Phantoms’ veteran captured the silver medal in pole vault at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. Shirk tied for second place in pole vault at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.
D.J. THOMAS SR COATESVILLE
The Red Raiders’ throwing ace competed in shot put and discus at the PIAA Class AAA Championships and placed 17th in shot put. At the District 1 Class AAA Championships, he was fourth in discus and fifth in shot put.
