SHEENA CRAWLEY JR COATESVILLE
The Red Raiders’ middle distance ace returned home from the PIAA Class AAA Championships with a seventh-place medal in the 800-meter run. At the District 1 Class AAA Championships a week earlier, she took fourth place in the same event.

LAUREN EDELMAN JR OWEN J. ROBERTS
The Wildcats’ versatile senior placed 18th in high jump and 21st in triple jump at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. She took fourth place in high jump and seventh in triple jump at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.

ABBY HOWATT JR W.C. HENDERSON
The Warriors’ powerful thrower placed 17th in javelin at the PIAA Class AAA Championships and came away with a fifth-place finish in the same event at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.

COURTNEY KEDRA SOPH PHOENIXVILLE
The versatile young Phantom ace took fifth in long jump and was on Phoenixville’s fifth-place 4x100-meter relay at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. She was silver medalist in long jump and on the seventh-place 4x100 at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.

KAYLA LEE JR W.C. RUSTIN
The Knights’ speedster finished 10th in the 100-meter dash at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. She was silver medalist in the 100 and placed 18th in the 200 at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.

CARLY NINESS SR CONESTOGA
The versatile veteran, who was the 2007 Daily Local News Player of the Year in girls’ soccer, led the Pioneers to a silver medal in the 4x100, a fifth-place finish in the 4x800 and a sixth-place finish in the 4x400 at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. She placed eighth in triple jump at the District 1 Class AAA Championships and helped ’Stoga win medals in the 4x100 (first), 4x800 (fifth) and 4x400 (eighth).

ALANNA OWENS SR W.C. RUSTIN
The Knights’ throw specialist finished third in shot put and 10th in discus at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. She took third place in discus and fourth place in shot put at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.

MATILDA PANCOAST SR UNIONVILLE
The Indians’ weight specialist won the bronze medal in javelin and placed 15th in discus at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. She won the gold medal in javelin, placed fourth in discus and finished eighth in shot put at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.

MARIE THOMPSON SR D’TOWN EAST
The Cougars’ standout distance veteran finished 12th in the 1,600-meter run at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. She captured the sixth-place medal in the 1,600 at the District 1 Class AAA Championships.

WHITNEY WINTERS SR CONESTOGA

The Pioneers’ speedy sprinter placed fifth in the 100-meter dash at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. One week earlier, she claimed the top prize at the District 1 Class AAA Championships when she finished first in the 100.
