New coach

Well, Well, Well - Boyertown has a new football coach. Mark Scisly coached at Salisbury High School last year where he was for four years. He is the new Boyertown football coach, but it wasn't easy for him. The vote at the school board meeting was 5-4. Apparently some of the board members wanted someone who teaches at Boyertown. Scisly is a teacher at Emmaus High School. Goold luck Mark. Despite the close vote, we're all behind you.
Congrats also goes to the Exeter High School girls' bowling team who pulled off the hat trick by winning three straight Berks League titles. They will try to defend their Eastern Pa. title as well this weekend. When this season began, it was expected to be a bit of a rebuilding season since they lost three seniors from last year. Instead, they went 46-2 and only two losses to Wilson prevented a perfect season. Ironically, it was Wilson they beat in the championship match by 120 pins.
