Field hockey gets first section win

After dropping their first two games by a combined total score of 3-0, the Bears unloaded in their first section game, walloping Cedar Crest 5-0 last Thursday.

Here are the Section One standings as of today:

Today at 4, the Bears will host Warwick at Jane Hoover Field in a huge early-season test for them. E-town is just 1-3 overall, but have been right there in all three of their losses (losing 2-0, 1-0, and 2-1). they could easily be 3-1 right now. But they aren't, and now comes the teeth of the schedule. 13 straight games against Section One opponents. It certainly doesn't get any easier.
