Eurich has a nice season for Gettysburg

Kelly Eurich, a sophomore at Gettysburg College and a graduate of Elizabethtown Area High School, recently wrapped up her season for the Bullets' women's tennis team.

Eurich did well this year, playing No. 2 and No. 3 singles and finishing with a 12-5 record. At No. 3, she was 9-2 and won her last eight regular season matches. She also teamed with Ali Moyer to make up Gettysburg's top doubles team. They went 12-5 as the Bullets went 11-6 as a team, their highest win total in 10 years.

Eurich is majoring in health sciences and is the daughter of Chris and Sue Eurich.

Garber doing well at West Chester

Janelle Garber, the former EAHS standout girls basketball player and 1,000 point scorer at E-town, is enjoying success in her sophomore season at West Chester University. She's helped the team to a 5-1 start and has started all six games. She is the team's second-leading scorer, averaging 13.3 points per game. She is also the team's leading rebounder (8.7 per game), and leads the team in blocked shots (6) and is tied for the team lead with 14 steals.

She was recently named PSAC Eastern Division Player of the Week for averaging 12.5 points and 10.5 rebounds for the Golden Rams last week.
