Remember
Due to the rash of arsons that continue authorities ask city residents to report any suspicious activity, including but not limited to strangers disturbing trash cans or late-night trespassers by calling 911. Residents should also leave porch lights on at night, keep outside trash cans empty and wait until the night before trash pickup to take trash outside.
Authorities also ask anyone with information regarding any of the incidents to contact the State Police Fire Marshal Unit at 484-340-3643 or the Coatesville Police Department at 610-384-2300.

If we stop and think that this can happen to any one of us, it is a horrible thought. If anyone knows anything they should find a way to get that info to the fire department or police department. In this town, someone always knows. Please tell the authorities.
by all means, call the police detectives. Do not call either chief. It will get screwed up.
I heard this is being done by a gang or group, they get "points" from their boys for doing destruction.(fires) What a sick thing. This has to stop. They are wrecking the town one property at a time. Some of these burn outs will never be fixed and just sit there. A person can't even sleep in peace not knowing if they are next.
Is there a way to bring in higher authorities to deal with this?
Apparently we are too small to handle this stuff and with all the fires it seems we need to put our pride aside and ask for help outside of the city.
Thank God they are bringing in professionals to handle this.
You will never be able to sell your house in C-Ville now. Everyone is saying what a dump it is before the fires. Sweep out counsel, police chief, city officials and start over.
John Rafferty is the one we should all be calling.

Drmand action because C-Ville cannot handle it. Also start paying these firefighters!!!!!!!! They are risking their lives for the city that is not risking theirs to find these scum bags
