An introduction
We are a Chester County couple from the borough of West Chester. We are traveling in August to our 4th Olympic Games together. (This will be my 5th set of games.) We are Christina Valocchi and Rick Stevenson. Christina is the Community Mobilizer for the West Chester Area Communities That Care Committee, and I am an adjunct professor in the Department of Kinesiology at West Chester University.
We are very excited about our trip to Beijing and the opportunity to blog about our experiences there and bring a perspective to you, the readers, on the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. This will be another opportunity to visit a different country and be with people from all over the world. We have tickets to a number of events already and we hope to be able to buy some additional tickets when we are there. We hope that you log in and ask questions that you would like us to answer while we are there.

After hearing about the international games from your previous trips, and having the privilege of attending the Atlanta games with you both, I will be thrilled to hear about your upcoming travels. Have a great trip and enjoy Beijing.
