DLN staff's official "Sopranos" finale predictions

Like every other office in the civilized world this week, here at the Daily Local News the newsroom staff has wasted hours ... I mean carefully contemplated only during lunch breaks and afterwork what will happen to Tony and the remaining survivors of "The Sopranos" gang.

Here's who came up with what:

Andy Hachadorian, editor
Tony will ride of into the sunset only after ratting out everybody he knows, including Brooklyn boss Phil Leotardo.

Anne Pickering, reporter
Tony enters the witness protection program and somebody in his immediate family -- Carmella, AJ, or Meadow -- dies.

Jon Tuleya, reporter
Tony kills Paulie mistakenly thinking he has aligned himself with Brooklyn, but the real turncoat is Patsy Parisi, the father of Meadow's current fling Patrick. Parisi still resents Tony for ordering the hit on his twin brother Phil "Philly Spoons" Parisi. Don't believe me, check out Patsy's Wikipedia page and then tell me what you think.

Andrew Cannarsa, reporter
Tony and his crew will have Phil Leotardo killed, but in the process, Tony will lose some of his closest remaining confidants, including Paulie and Patsy and possibly a family member. So while it appears that Tony might have settled the score, he is in fact left with only himself to contemplate what has happened to his life.

Tom Hope, web editor
I think Tony will be killed by his sister, Janice.

What a unique show! The person who played Tony Soprano was excellent. I started watching it in its second season, and I was hooked.

I think that Tony will live but will be a willing participant with the feds in order to save himself and his family. He will probably recruit new "family" members in order to maintain his livelyhood.

His son will probably be a casulaty, unfortunately.
