BREAKING: Chester back in title game

The Chester Clippers were down Wednesday against Pennsbury, but they were never quite out.

The Clippers erased several mini-deficits throughout the night, beating the Falcons 75-64 at the Palestra to make a return trip to the PIAA Class AAAA championship.

They will face Norristown, a 52-33 winner over Moon in the night's other semifinal game. The Clippers and the Eagles went to battle for the District One crown last month, with coach Fred Pickett's team winning big in that one.

Against Pennsbury, the Clippers had to do without Nasir Robinson (pictured), Karon Burton and Russell Johnson for lengthy stretches of time due to foul trouble. But their reserves stepped up big until they could return to the floor.

Burton led all Clippers with 19 points. Rahlir Jefferson notched 17, while Kevin Green-Germany chipped in with 14.

For more details on the game, check back to the Daily Times throughout the night and pick up a copy of Thursday's paper.
