Sin Tax City

In Pittsburgh, a new drink tax is receiving bad reviews from bar and restaurant owners. Drinkers too.

Who likes it? Teetotalers and the man who instituted it.

Drinkers and smokers have become a fair game target for unfair and punitive taxation. Libs really are oppressive and discriminatory to unpopular minorities that don’t meet their protected status.

Such government overreach should always be put to the People. But Libs hate democracy when it threatens to not serve their wants.

Notice how this filthy Lib politico, full of bitter resentment that the People dare oppose him, is going to attempt to undermine the referendum by turning it into a this-or-that, drink tax vs. property tax question. His clear hope being that folks, already crushed under oppressive property taxes, will see the drink tax as the lesser of two evils. Gotta love that underhanded Lib legislating.

And who else is sick and tired of dumping billion$ of our money into the Welfare-on-Wheels public transportation bottomless pit boondoggle anyway? If it can’t support itself in a free market (with high gas prices!) then it should be abolished and privatized, not $ub$idized for eternity.
