The Palin Smears Don't Stick
The Palin v. Alaska Special Olympics lie is put to rest here.
Spencerblog got it right here.
Palin's veto wasn't a cut, it was her declining to more than double the amount of funding.
UPDATE: The charging for the rape kits myth also bites the dust.

Gil, let's be honest, she's smart and sharp. If she had two years of Presidential Election training like McCain, Biden and Obama, I'm more than certain she would be weathered and experienced in 'playing the interview game' as they are - maybe even more so.
Bottom line, she's got a remarkable career path to her present position of Governor, she did it without any 'connections' without having a popular name, without being a party 'heir apparent' and without having any sweetheart national attention (e.g. - Media swooning over a Barack Obama in 2004 and his Keynote Speech in the 2004 Democratic Convention/easy path to the US Senate in IL).
I'm excited about the possibility of Sarah Palin as Vice President, the media will not sway me from my opinion, despite their best attempts at 'gotcha' questions. Besides, the Pakistan question at Tony Luke's over the weekend? She gave a response I wanted to hear, maybe John McCain should adopt it.
