Questioning His Heritage
The Obama campaign still hasn't corrected it's ad that claims his tax plan is supported by the conservative Heritage Foundation. (I saw it again during the World Series.)
Here's what the actual author of the study has to say about it.

The author ends his piece with:
"For campaign staffers too busy to click, let me summarize the key findings: Sen. McCain’s plan would produce twice as many jobs as Sen. Obama’s plan, and leave middle-class families with, on average, $1,500 more in after-tax disposable income. And you can quote me on that."
The real problem is that his "findings" aren't worth the paper they are printed on. Rea Hederman has a long history of being against minimum wage increases, and failing to acknowledge the growing gap between rich and poor. He minimizes job loss reports and cherry picks favorable random upward fluctuations as though this false equivalence balances the losses.
Obama shouldn't quote this guy in any context, because he is such an economic hack. Rather, he should point to this guy's embrace of McCain as yet another example of how McCain=Bush on policy.
I question Obama's heritage. Among the many secrets he keeps hidden, he still has never released his real birth certificate.
