Hey Rock, Watch Me Pull a Pardon Out of My Hat...
Mark Bowden has a good idea for President Bush: Pardon the shoe thrower.
Too bad it's not really his pardon to grant.

Gil, did you get hit on the head with a pair of me, size 10? Bowden said that Bush should ask the Iraqis for a pardon. He didn't say that Bush could grant a pardon.
My sales are up. We had to hire 100 workers to keep up with demand.
Model 271 sounds an awful lot like a certain sock puppet flapping its tongue.
Right, Bowden said the President ought to "ask" the Iraqi government to grant a pardon. But it is not his place to do so.
Of course, if the Iraqi government is considering such a thing and would like the opinion of POTUS they are free to ask for it. He already treated the incident with some aplomb. The Iraqis can take their cue from that.
Socks don't have tongues.
Shoes do.
Bush got licked.
Socks don't have tongues. But some sock puppets do.
We all know what sock puppets don't have, and that is a set!

I wish my mayor were more like Mr. S.
Mr. S? MR. SSS? LOL. What a suck up! Do you polish Mr. S's shoes? Take out his trash?
