Forgetting, Never Forgetting and a Kindness of Angelic Proportion
Gene Weingarten has a terrific piece in The Washington Post on parents who accidentally kill their children by forgetfully leaving them in cars.
It happened locally last year to a grandfather, Ed Kanterman. He pleaded no contest to involuntary manslaughter and was given three-years probation.
Read Weingarten's long piece. It comes with a wonderfully human payoff at end.
