Dems & EPA: Bad Cop, Bad Cop

Our politicized EPA seeks to undemocratically impose costly carbon regulations on the country.
The EPA has now formally made an "endangerment finding" on CO2, which will impose the command-and-control regulations of the Clean Air Act across the entire economy. Because this law was never written to apply to carbon, the costs will far exceed those of a straight carbon tax or even cap and trade—though judging by the bills Democrats are stitching together, perhaps not by much. In any case, the point of this reckless "endangerment" is to force industry and politicians wary of raising taxes to concede, lest companies have to endure even worse economic and bureaucratic destruction from the EPA.
And David Letterman thinks he was a blackmail victim.

At some point someone with the resources has got to enjoin some lawyers and sue The 0bamanation and Congress for some of these laws. There have to be some violations of The Constitution in there, I would think.

The EPA stands for Environmental Protection Act.
It's VERY democratic to protect the environment that we all live in.

"Because this law was never written to apply to carbon"
The law was written to apply to whatever is a causing a problem. Acid rain wasn't in the original Clean Air Act either. But, in 1990, the act was modified. They used a market-based cap and trade approach to solve the problem.

Sound familiar?

The industries that were polluting made dire predictions about the collapse of every related industry.

Sound familiar?

The program worked and the naysayer's that ignored science and common sense over industry polluters were wrong.

Sound familiar?
