Obamacare? There's an APPS for That

I just got off the phone with Dr. Richard Amerling of Beth Israel Hospital in NYC. His take on Obamacare can be found here.

He is also the author of the Physician's Declaration of Independence and a member of Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (APPS). He will figure prominently in tomorrow's print column. Stay tuned.

Remeber this Gil? " As late as yesterday, The New Republic's Jonathan Cohn claimed that healthcare is "At the two-yard line" and only needs to be pushed into the end zone. It's on the two-yard line alright, their OWN two-yard line. Democrats are just trying to avoid a sack for a safety.

I sure do. And they did avoid the safety.

They berated and strong-armed their own teammates, they bribed and paid-off reluctant players and ignored the referees as yellow flags were thrown all over the field.

Quarterback Nancy Pelosi ran 98-yards for the winning TD for Coach Barry Obama.

And what did they win?

I'll tell you tomorrow.

Sausage. Or if it's Delco., scrapple. I can't wait to see if you have someting new to add to the argument. But here's what you win. Personally. Your daughter gets to remain on your insurance until she's 26. Is that something you will object to?

And she, along with millions from her generation, will be stuck with the bill in the long run.

Bob, extending healthcare dependants to 26 is nice for recessions, but doesn't it dissuade young adults from going out and being responsible? I seem to remember pushing to ensure a position prior to graduation to have my own plan and getting off my parents before it was too late.
