Check out the sweet spring training pics!

It's Day 2 of live batting practice. I asked Jimmy Rollins who he was up against today and he shrugged his shoulders - he doesn't know until he enters the batter's box.

Obviously hitters aren't exactly watching video and trying to solve the pitchers they're facing. It's all about dusting off the cobwebs and getting their timing and hand-eye coordination back in line.

Some of the pitchers scheduled to throw in those sessions today: Cole Hamels, Joe Blanton, Phillippe Aumont and J.A. Happ.

Not a whole lot else going on this morning... no injury news (that's good, right?) and no new entrants in best facial hair of the spring (not good, I guess).

In case you missed it, the stories in today's paper concerned how Placido Polanco's arrival makes the Phils offense as good as any in MLB and the matchup between Roy Halladay and Domonic Brown in live BP.

Some people have applauded us for the short videos we've had on the site this week.... for that I have to give props to staff photographer Eric Hartline. He shoots and edits those... I simply stand in front of the camera and yammer on like a chimp.

Anyway, this is Eric's last day in camp. Here is some of the other fine work he's done this week:
