Too much butt

Hey, Ed, I think it’s really funny that all these towns across the U.S. are trying to ban teenagers from wearing their pants real low so that their underwear is showing, and yet on the pages of The Trentonian, in recent days, you have pictures of naked behinds. Do we need to look at THAT in the morning? Give US a break!
Crack of dawn
Those behinds weren’t naked. Just nearly naked.— Ed. Note

Butt indeed. Just last week I read an article where Councilwoman Lartigue said she would try and introduce an ordinance about this very subject. She stated she is not in agreement with this form of dress and if nothing else the wearers would be publically ridiculed for presenting themselves in such a ridiculous manner. How interesting. In 2004, Councilwoman Lartigue visited the Lutherian Towers Senior Citizens Apartment Building on West State St. During her visit the residents sought her assistance regarding security, elevator safety, (the fire department continually at the building removing residents from elevators), theft, faulty wiring, leaks, garbage disposal and overall building management. They asked her to assist them in anyway she could. They also inquired if there were any other agencies that could address their problems. The Councilwoman, reminded the residents that they could have more security by paying off duty police officers as security personnel, but to remember "you get what you pay for". She also stated "if they didn't like the living situations there, they could move". All this in her 15 minute visit. Councilwoman Lartigue is the West Ward representative. Yet, she has no answers for constituent concerns. Her best answer for them is move. How poignant. Senior citizens cannot afford to relocate on a whim, and yet that was her best response. Councilwoman Lartigue should experience the ridicule she suggests for others. She should be ridiculed by the public for dismissing seniors. She spends her time on frivilous issues that neither pertain to or address campaign promises she made at Lutherian Towers during her pre-election visits. Perhaps, her punishment should be voters not remembering her name.

Anonymous post was absolutely true. My aunt lived there at the time, and I was shocked to see the Councilwoman respond to the seniors concerns in such a way. The residents were practically begging for her help. She was rude, impolite and uninformed about many of the issues important to the seniors. Just another example of the many disguises worn by City Council members.
