Hey, Ed, where do they want Santiago to live and what damn difference does it make if he lives in Chicago or in New Jersey? So what! He’s ineffective as a police director. If he lived right here in Trenton on Stuyvesant Avenue he would still be ineffective as a director. So why do we care where he lives? Let that man live wherever he wants. It’s stupid; it’s why this country is run the way it is, because we concern ourselves with stupid stuff.

Hey Smarty, if he lived on Stuyvesant Ave, and people were dealing drugs and shooting each other outside of his door, He would pay a little more attention to these issues. Remember the saying, "whatever comes home,
you have to live with". There would be no more excuses, charts or absences at the table when it came time to figure this thing out.
If Palmer is so certain that Santiago and his massaged stats are correct and crime is down 50%,
shouldn't he be living here..... it's paradise. I don't believe there is another state that has a crime reduction of 50%. I hope the citizens are absorbing this rhetoric between council and the Mayor. I hope they are getting a clear view of what they put in office. Palmer's done nothing but backslide, smile,wave, ignore the truth and allow the city to be manipulated into making him look as if he could possibly offer a legitimate politician some sort of assistance. It'll never happen. Palmer should realize that as records go, his is horrific. The kind of people he's trying to impress with his tight fitting suits and baby soft hands, hardly want someone with this sort of representation sitting in their camp. Perhaps after some real self examination, hizzhoner should ask himself, how much dirt is on his hands, no not just from taking money from unethical Torricelli, but by being involved in unscrupulus dealing with the safety of the citizens. No sincere politician will touch him with a ten foot pole. And should they choose to, they will have exposed themselves by association.
