County Waste
Hi, I’m a retired captain from the Mercer County Corrections Center, and I understand that officers are going to be making over $180,000 a year with overtime. That’s ridiculous. What’s Brian Hughes doing about this? The only thing he seems to be doing is raising taxes.

O what a leader he is There is waste , the first waste the county made is hiring the Warder they did , the man think he is above the law he continue to cost the county money by being vendictive against the officers and firing them then the county have to bring them back and pay them back money of enormous amount. Does the county Free holders take a look at what is going on in their jail. Do the want to be elected again. Pleople are afried to talk because they are afraid of retaliation. The waste of Mercer county tax payers money will cont if the county leaders keep turning their head the other way and not fixing the broken jail they have up in hope will. I is sicking to see the waste that happen there every day this come from the top. The Free holder should let the Warde stop lying to them and come and see the degredation on the whole buisness. The officers work for that ovver time due to the lack of adequate management.
