Ed, I am calling about the article on the Trenton Police being allowed to carry .45-caliber weapons. Obviously the police should have all the tools they need to fight crime in Trenton. I think it’s ludicrous that the police have to pay for their own weapons. The City of Trenton should provide them. As far as I’m concerned the police could carry .44 magnums or .50-caliber “Desert Eagles.” They need ’em.

Why stop there? A nice grenade on a cop’s belt or a backpack flamethrower sends the message to a street thug who thinks he can start something.—Ed. Note

yikes, did you ever look at the majority of trenton police officers? their obesity and rotten teeth alone should tell you that they're not capable of carrying anything heavier than a 5 lb box of donuts.
