Ed, my Trenton Water Works bill said my actual water usage was $11.34 for the last quarter. My total bill was $70.25. That’s a difference of $58.91 for “water ready.” What’s going on here? What will it be like when the new people take over the Trenton Water Works?

Tell him that when he gets his first bill from American Water to be prepared for sticker shock. The quarterly bill will now be his monthly bill
I always loved that ready to serve charge! I remember when it first came on the bill about 25 years ago. It was only a couple of dollars then which didn't make it to bothersome.Back then my cable bill with HBO, and the water bill were about the same amount 16 bucks.
