Leave The Cars

If Gov. Corzine wants to save a lot of money he should not let state workers take their cars home. You would save a lot of gas that way. Even though they do pay $3 a day, it is not worth it when you add on maintenance.

Seems reasonable to me. Besides, aren’t those cars “for state use only”? Just sayin’.— Ed. Note

Just a thought for the person that wrote in about the state cars and employees not taking them home - fact of the matter is that bad areas at night i.e. Newark, Trenton to name a few, the cars stand more chance of vandalism sitting in the state parking lots. The vandalism costs taxpayers more money than the gas & maintenance does - makes more sense for some workers to take these cars home where they will be safe.
