Union Reps

I’m a state worker. How much do these union reps make? Is this public knowledge? Maybe they should give back a little money to the state since they have been riding on our coattails all this time. Is there somewhere we can find out what they make?
Curious
Great question. Love to know the answer. Anyone know where we can easily get hold of this information to share with everyone?— Ed. Note

ven though you can get the state employees salaries and the retirees yearly income on the internet the CWA unions won't show what they make.

It was an issue in the last election for local 1033 and the president still won't tell how much they each make and the overtime.

Even though the members pay for these people they are not allowed.

I would also like to know the salaries of union reps. Also, regarding the Governor's program for furlough's and pay increase freezes, I suggest he freeze the wages of those that are making $80,000 and up (and there's plenty of them) and leave the little guys alone. Why does the little guy always bear the brunt of someone's greed!!

FYI - Shop Stewards get paid - nothing! We are all volunteers. No special privileges and apparently little appreciation for helping our co-workers deal with their problems on the job. There is a Christmas dinner for stewards where we sometimes get a jacket - thats it. In the mean time we jeopardize our own career advancement by standing up for other people who often, after complaining bitterly and demanding action, won't sign a grievance filed on their behalf out of fear of retaliation. These unpaid Shop Stewards are unsung heroes on the job every day who deserve a little more recognition by the union and a lot more appreciation by their co-workers.

How can we get 1033 to make the staff salaries public? Not even the National will intervene on this.

Rae Roeder is a demagogue with a disgraced ex-Public Employee on staff who stole over twenty five THOUSAND Dollars from the State; her reward, after a fine and forfeiting State employment? A job as a lap dog for Roeder, at a salary of more than seventy thousand Dollars.

Something is rotten in Trenton, and you can smell it coming from 321 West State St., CWA Local 1033.

Anyone here attend the 1033 membership meeting last night, where rabid Rae Roeder shouted down and insulted challengers to her status quo?

It was a disgrace. I am resigning from the Local and I will ask my friends at Treasury and Education to do the same.

Mr. Averhart tried to speak and apparently he had been informed that he had that right by the national but Roeder kept yelling him down.

I can't wait to get my money back. I don't want a stupid BBQ once a year with mule meat, and I do NOT want to pay a thief with my hard earned cash.

Rae Roeder go home to wherever you live. You are a disgrace, just like your pal Katz.

She got the boot.

It's YOUR TURN NEXT.

I'm a state worker and a member of cwa 1033. and are sick of our so call leader and president the big mouth. that controlls every thing and the members have no say and if they dare disagree with her ranting and lanatic ways.they are subject to threats of being fined or told that she will call state police to have them remove. so munch for profession and solidarity.while it is mine the the members dues that pay her and her incompetent staff salaries. that we as the members have no knowledge of.while we are subject to temporary layoffs, and wage freezes and possible job lost. I say rae stick her gavel where the sun dont shine.
