Pay Benci

Ed, about that pay raise for Mayor Bencivengo. Personally I think this mayor does deserve a raise. You can’t compare him to Gilmore; that is a slap in the face. Gilmore didn’t take a raise, but you mean to tell me he didn’t take anything under the table? Please tell me why we got into such a terrible debt, Mr. Gilmore. He went about taxing us little by little until he built up a surplus. Mayor Bencivengo is a good guy, a family man, and he is doing the best he can. What about the police chief, I understand he is a very lax police chief. If he needs to make more money, pay him a dollar more than what his highest paid police officer gets. Let’s see what he does for the community. I do feel that you can’t put Bencivengo and Gilmore on the same square. Please use your intelligence. And Capodanno, don’t know what his problem is, but you can probably guess.
Cash Machine
So, yes on the Benci raise, nothing for the chief. You’ve solved the town’s problem’s just like that. —Ed. Note

Dear Backtalk, I agree we should pay Mr. Bencivengo a lot more money
so I can take him to court and sue him, for all of the damages done to
my automobile from all of the pot-holes in the township, If he's not the biggest pompous ass in the world I have no idea who is, Yes Mr. Baenci, get a lot of money you are going to need it........

Any politician in any township, county, state ,or federal level receiving, wanting or excepting a pay raise in this economic environment is a selfish, uncaring, manipulative monster. It shows how connected they are to the bankers who reward themselves for failure. In Mansfield Township Burlington County our Mayor gets 5000 a year twenty times less. You tell me the Hamilton mayor should be getting that kind of money and I think you are nutty.
Does he spend 20 times more time than our mayor at his desk doing township business not a chance. EVIL EVIL EVIL people!!!!!

How could any government official in this climate ask for more money? You have to be one selfish self centered hubris filled blowhard. Especially when some of the smaller townships with part time mayors and two or three secretaries and clerks are making all of five thousand dollars a year. Is this guy 20 times more valuable than a mayor who only has ten thousand folks in smaller township?

I would like to know what he is actually doing that warrants him to get more money. Is he going to produce more jobs for people? Is he going to fix hamilton as he said he was?
