Bounce Ball
Ed, I am calling about Mayor Jack Ball being out of control in Ewing. The Lower Moody Field needs repairs, and he went and tore down the Upper Moody Field, where the kids were to play baseball, to build a football field. But he doesn’t have money to build a football field. He has basically ruined Babe Ruth, Legion and high school games. We have no fields to play on. I wish somebody would check into this. If this guy is running for re-election, forget about it.

Jack Ball did not kill baseball in Ewing Township. Babe Ruth has been in the toilet for a number of years. With the recent emergence of Junior Legion, the kids coming up from Little League are going to that or Cal Ripken in Hamilton or choosing not to play at all.There are coaches that they don't want to play for , parents write letters to the board, and All-Star teams lacking in player numbers because no one want to play for a particular coach. Ewing High school has its own field( as well as one at Fisher)and maybe the coaches there should work out something so that that can utilize their own field. Legion has being doing fine as they only allow a certain number of players on the roster and unlike the Babe Ruth and Jr. Legion draw hugh crowds to their games. TYry to eduacate yourself before shooting off your mouth and put the blame where it really belongs.. On the administrative boards of these leagues!!
P.S. THERE ARE NO RECREATION FOOTBALL FIELDS IN EWING!!!
