I have no idea where this "rumor" is coming from, but there is absolutely no validity to it.

On the off chance that it was something legit, I checked with Rich Ensor. His response: Expansion hasn't even been on the league's agenda in 18 months, and only then it was simply a matter of basic planning discussions.; March 11, 2010 12:50 PM

Anonymous said...: Expansion is off the table because the Big East and Big 10 will have a major shake-up this offseason, which will take effect in the next 2-3 years, and there will be an effect on the MAAC - Ensor knows this.; March 13, 2010 3:22 PM
