This blog is edited and written by Joshua Sophy, Editor at The Hamburg Area Item, a weekly newspaper in Berks County, Pa. I grew up in Anthracite coal country and like to bring that hard coal approach to the news. I'm dedicated to relating the importance of small town news to the people who need to read it most. At 4am, funner is a word.
