Bears thump Donegal

Well, color me impressed. E-town looked very good last night and completely dominated Donegal en route to a 43-15 win. The Bears have had a lot of expectations heaped on them already (I've heard rumblings that several coaches in the L-L League said that they were the team to beat in the league), and they've lived up to them so far.
After picking up the program's 400th win last week in dominating fashion, the Bears put it on Donegal and it really wasn't even close. I was very impressed with the energy E-town wrestled with and it was great seeing how much stronger and better some of the wrestlers have gotten since last year.
Justin Lewis, Blake Rosenberger (who I think is going to have a huge year, even though he's in a stacked weight class at 145) and Calvin Anderton all picked up pins. Oliver Thayer (very impressed by him last night as well) and Sean McMullen both had major decisions and Shane Rosenberry had a tech. fall. Jared Danneker and Travis Leber both won by decision.
Great job by the Bears last night. They travel tomorrow to Middletown, which will be a great early season measuring stick for this team. Middletown is always one of the strongest teams in the district, so it will be interesting to see how the Bears stack up with them.
