Cassebaum up for Hall of Fame
I was just checking out my man Barry Ford's Columbia sports blog, Tide Talk, (which is fantastic by the way. Barry's very much in the know about the local sports scene. Check it out over at http://www3.allaroundphilly.com/blogs/chronicleledger/tidetalk/blog.html. Sorry I don't know how to make a direct link. I don't know much, and HTML code is among those things). Anyway, Barry is a member of the Susquehanna Valley Chapter of the PA Sports Hall of Fame and posted this year's ballot.
One name that stuck out to me was Jack Cassebaum, former EAHS head football coach. If you're reading this blog, I'm guessing you all know who Jack is. But if you don't, I can tell you that he was a fantastic coach and an even better human being. Jack cares very much about the young athletes in this community and you'll still see him at football and basketball games. I've gotten to know Coach over the past few years, and I hope he gets in. He deserves it.
For the rest of the ballot, check out Tide Talk. Here's the URL again:
