Kroesen inducted into E-town Wrestling Hall of Fame
Before Saturday's EAHS wrestling match against Garden Spot, E-town inducted Hob Kroesen into the Elizabethtown Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Kroesen, pictured above with E-town head coach Mike Sernoffsky, was a 1963 graduate of EAHS, where he was a two-year letterwinner. He then went into the Air Force for four years before attending E-town College, where he wrestled and lettered each year.
After college, Kroesen was a PIAA wrestling official for 25 years, where he officiated all levels, including the PIAA state tournament and the NCAA qualifying tournament. He also coach E-town Boys Club wrestling for 15 years and coached the likes of Tom Miller, Mike Miller, Jon Givens and Dennis Rosenberry.
He also helped found the Elizabethtown Optimist Club Junior High Wrestling Tournament.
Kroesen was inducted into the District Three Wrestling Hall of Fame in 1998.
