Wrestling: District 3 Team Tournament

Tonight (barring any sort of postponement due to snow), the Bears will travel to Warwick to face the Warriors in the first round of the District Three Class AAA tournament.

E-town is 11-2 and will be the No. 9 seed. Warwick is 12-2 and the No. 8 seed. The winner of the match will get No. 1 Central Dauphin (10-0) on Thursday at 7 p.m. CD takes on Garden Spot in the first round tonight and, with all due respect to the Spartans, should cruise there. Tough draw in this tournament for the Bears, but it is what it is. Remember last season they faced Warwick in the first round of team districts, with Warwick coming out on top. E-town's looking for a bit of revenge from that this year, and they've got a chance. Warwick's a little bit banged up. Adam Chapis, Ross Stockdale, Cody Schoenberger, Jamie Mellinger and Zach Brubaker have missed some mat time recently. I don't know how hurt they are if it will affect the match tonight, but I guess we'll find out. I see this as a very even match that could come down to bonus points. I hear that it is a cool atmosphere in Warwick and I'm going to try and get there tonight, although I have another game I'm supposed to cover.
