Wrestling odds and ends

With the Lancaster-Lebanon League tournament beginning tomorrow, I wanted to post some wrestling info. for you today. The seeding meeting for the tournament is tonight, so brackets aren't done yet. I'll try and get my hands on them tomorrow and post them for you, though.

First, here is the schedule for the L-L Tournament. It's being held at Conestoga Valley this year. Session I will be Friday night and Session II will be Saturday.
Session I
6 mats, scheduled from 4 to 10 p.m.
Here is what's on tap for Session I:

Preliminaries (Round of 16)
Consolation Round 1 (pigtails)
Championship Quarterfinals

Session II
4 mats, beginning at 10 a.m.
Consolation Round 3, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Championship Semifinals, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Consolation Quarterfinals, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Consolation Semifinals, 1:30 to 3 p.m.
7th place bouts, 1:30 to 3 p.m.

They then usually clear the mats and start the finals in the evening. Don't know an exact time for that yet, but I'll post that with the brackets tomorrow.

Note: This year, E-town is returning to the L-L League sectional, which is Section Three. Remember, recently, the Bears were in the Section Two tournament with a bunch of Mid Penn teams. This year, they're back in Section Three, which is at Hempfield with the following teams: Cedar Crest, CV, Donegal, Hempfield, L-S, Lebanon, McCaskey, Central, Township, Penn Manor, Solanco and Warwick.

Individual Tournament
Friday, Feb. 20, prelims, consolations and quarters, @ Hersheypark Arena
Saturday, Feb. 21, semis, consolations and finals, @ Hersheypark Arena

All culminating with the PIAA State Tournament, March 5-7 @ The Giant Center.
