Wow

Last night was definitely one of those nights when I got home, that was like WOW!

Wow because after sitting down to watch some college hoops, I was stunned to read on the bottom line that Bob or Bobby Knight had stepped down as coach at Texas Tech.

Had to wonder, before seeing most of the Sports Center special, if Knight had hit a player or did something stupid and was going to get fired. After listening to the experts, it just seemed like it was time. An odd time at that.

Despite his short comings off the court, Knight was an excellent X and O coach. Maybe he can move to New York and help struggling Hooiser alum Isiah Thomas with the Knicks.

I remember when he was at Indiana and went to a game at Penn State right after the Jordan Center openeed and listening to one of his press confernces. It definitely wasn't g-rated.

This could be a big week for big time coaching changes. Rumor has it there is another one in the works and it could be a factor in football recruiting.
