Wing Bowl is over
610 WIP's Wing Bowl is history and the trophy isn't coming to Columbia.
Dr. Digestion, otherwise known as Twin Rose Dr. Bret Daniels did make the second round of the competition, eating 71 wings in the first round. According to WIP's website, the good doctor retired as the second round opened.
The winner for the third year was Joey Chestnut -- he ate 241 (that's right) wings.
Second place went to Patrick Bertoletti with 227. El Wingador was third with 205.
The 241 wings was a new record.
