For Jack : a Tribute To the Music of Christopher Tucker

On Friday October 17th, the collective music scene of Philadelphia
and Delaware will gather at the North Star Bar in Philadelphia to
remember the life and music of Christopher Tucker in benefit of his
son Jack Tucker. A $10 minimum donation will be requested at the
door, advance tickets are now available via
http://www.northstarbar.com and http://www.ticketweb.com, please note
that this event is for those 21 years of age and older only please.

The North Star Bar is located at 2639 Poplar Street in the Fairmont
neighborhood of Philadelphia.

On Friday, July 25th Christopher Michael Tucker, lead singer of local
Philadelphia and Delaware based bands including The Verge, The
Situation, Meme, and Orphan Family, passed away. Christopher’s
death has left a void in the Philadelphia music scene, but more
importantly it has left his 5 year old son Jack, without a father. On
Friday October 17th six area bands will gather at the North Star in an
attempt to fill that musical void, and to raise money for the estate
of Christopher Tucker to directly benefit Chris’ only child,
Jack.

A special video will also be screened for the first time at the
event. Just a week before his passing, Chris recorded his last song
and created a video for it as well with local artist Nico. The video
was to be completed as a concept in two parts, however only the first
part was completed, that first part will be screened and will allow
fans of Chris to hear new music from Chris one more time.

There will also be a silent auction which will be organized by Girl
