Delco coaches hook up in JAX

First it was Steve Donahue, the Cardinal O'Hara graduate by way of Prospect Park.
Then it was Fran Dunphy, with lifelong roots in the area, most recently Villanova, to hit the podium here at the NCAA Tournament's East Regional at Veterans Memorial Arena.
Finally Bo Ryan, the product of Chester High, stepped up to the dais.
The coaches of Cornell, Temple and Wisconsin, respectively all are deeply rooted in Delaware County, and proud of it.
Dunphy kidded that the entire Delaware Valley is full of head coaching material because "They can't do anything else, maybe."
Ryan went a step further.
"Anybody from Philly who sits in the stands thinks they're a coach," Ryan said. "Have you ever met anybody from that area who didn't think they could coach?"
Touche.
