E-Mail of the Week

Comes from Jack Phillippe

Mr. Spencer:

The key to Barack Obama's charter is Michelle. To start with, I believe that she paid close attention in church to Pastor Wright. She like the Pastor is a chronic complainer and as we all know, chronic complainer's can never be satisfied, even if you give them every thing, they still believe that you are holding out.

She whines about not being able to take piano ad ballet lessons, she finds little to be proud of as far as America is concerned, even thou she has been recipient of a wonderful life here and can not point to another part of the world where she could have done better.

Barack Obama picked her and there must have been something that attracted him to her --- usually the attraction is looks, character and an agreement in how an individual thinks. She only one of a cast of characters, who are radical thinkers that are attracted to Obama an one has to wonder why. More importantly thou, he came from no where to become the main stream medias hero.

There are "red flags" all over the place as far as Barack Obama is concerned and what he intends to do as far as (change) America is concerned, and I am plenty worried.

Jack,

Chronic complaining and whining is unattractive, especially in First Ladies. Now, that the Obamas are this close to the White House, I'm thinking Michelle Obama is smart enough to mind her P & Q's until after Election Day. If her husband wins, over the next four years, she'll be a great source of entertainment. If he loses, Spencerblog is quite sure she will not be at a loss to explain why?

Spencer-
I didn't know we were supposed to be electing First Ladies. But, if the wife's a reflection of the candidate, then McCain's got some trouble of his own.

1) His wife was addicted to prescription pain killers and STOLE drugs from her own organization: American Voluntary Medical Team

2) She engaged in an affair with John McCain while he was still married (so, she's an adulterer and home wrecker)

3) In April 2008, some recipes on the McCain campaign website attributed to Cindy McCain turned out to be copied from the Food Network. The campaign attributed the problem to an error by an intern. Earlier in the year, Cindy McCain submitted as her own a Food Network recipe for passion fruit mousse to an article published in The New York Sun.
So, she's a liar and a plagiarist.

4) n May 2008, she declined to make her separate income tax return public, saying it was a privacy issue and that she would not do so even if she became First Lady.
During the 2004 presidential campaign, the editorial pages of The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal called on Sen. John Kerry's wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, to release her tax returns, with The Wall Street Journal citing the role Heinz Kerry's wealth purportedly played in her husband's presidential campaign. But according to a Media Matters for America search of editorials since January 1, the Post and Journal have yet to call for the release of Cindy McCain's tax returns, despite the role her personal fortune has reportedly played in the residential campaign of her husband, Sen. John McCain.

So, Spencer, based on this, Michelle Obama comes out on top as First Lady material.

Umm, I'm gonna have to go with the one who isn't bitter and doesn't hate what she sees as white America. Yeah, Cindy McCain wins, hands down.

diano, your post is further proof that you do not think for yourself, you've clearly been trained by the system to spin any subject to the other side rather than discuss the specifics at hand.

Yet another reason not to take you seriously.

By th way, why does it look like Joe Sestak is hitting on the viewer in your "Progressive Patriot" blog?

Michelle Obama is no Cindy McCain. I am not a fan of Juan McCain, but he has a dream wife. She is hot, has big boobs, and she owns a beer distributor.

McCheese-
I consider the whole "who the First Lady is" to be a complete BS argument from the get go. I was pointing out that Cindy McCain suffers from the flaws that the right-wing claims to care about. Infidelity, drug use, lying, and withholding the same tax info they insisted Kerry's wife produce.

I'm just calling them out on their hypocrisy.

McCain cheated on and left his wife to hook up with a young, hot heiress who bankrolled the start of his political career. In Shields' book, that's the American dream. Speaking of "dream wife", I guess Shields is unsatisfied that the mother of his children is no Cindy McCain. Shields is such a spokesman for GOP's version of "family values".

Whereas Michelle Obama grew up in a middle class two-parent home. Her father was an employee at the city water plant and her mother was a secretary. Michelle studied and worked hard, got into a good school (Princeton) and top law school (Harvard). So, in Shields' world, that's not the American dream?

McCheese, "hitting on the viewer"? First of all, it's not "my" blog. I haven't posted there in over 5 months. When he created the site, a friend of mine clipped that image from some fuzzy stock photo of Sestak on his ship. uncropped photo

However, if you do find Sestak alluring in the photo, I'm sure Randal and Shields would be happy to haul you out to Bible camp and beat those sinful thoughts out of you with a cross. (Make sure Randal doesn't light his first.)

Rather than alluring, I kind of figured he was grimacing because the guy behind him was giving him a wedgie.

You avoided me yet again. Please discuss Michele Obama as she was the basis of Gil's post. Your typical SPINZO tactics show that you're as bad as any of the "evil GOP" strategists and etc.

How do you expect any of us to take you serious if your defense is to SPIN rather than stand?

1) The character of ANY First Lady is irrelevant.

2) The key character issue for Michelle Obama is that she grew up without a silver spoon in her mouth and worked hard to get her education.

The Obama's will be inspirational to those wondering about the importance of a good education.

I don't believe your statement if you way too quick to give us a hitlist on Cindy McCain as a response. Seems like character is absolutely relevant to you.

Nope. Cindy McCain could be a stripper for all I care. I was just making a preemptive strike for those that think to make the First Lady's character an issue.

On the non-character front, how would Cindy McCain run her beer empire from the White House. (Fortunately, we won't have to find out, since McCain will lose.) But, as a practical matter, what are the conflict of interest considerations when the wife of President is the bread winner, particularly when distribution of alcohol across state lines is involved?

Pre-emptive? What kind of substances do you inhale during the day? This was a clear and direct response to the post of the article!

Again, wrong, as usual.

If it didn't matter to you, you (or any other individual with common sense) would have:

1. Not wasted your time with a post, or

2. Posted "Why should I care about this?" without a long list about another candidate's wife.

Dave, you're full of it, your little uber-liberal group is just as bad as any of these "Evil GOP" claims, and your post couldn't back it up any further. Come clean.
