Obama's Swinging Speechwriter

Anyone feel the need to weigh in on the great cardboard cut-out controversy?

For some reason this reminds me of the old joke.

Q: How many feminists does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: That's not funny.

The story says "This is the kind of guy Obama hires for his campaign" Right. The insinuation is that Obama knew of this guys behavior. How rediculous. But then what should we expect from this blog who mission states" We are part of a burgeoning group of bloggers, writers, and citizens who are joining together to fight back against the corrupt leadership of the DNC" Just more of the same.

Bob's and his lib media friends take on this would be entirely different if Hillary's cut-out was being groped by a McCain or Bush staffer. That is what is so ridiculous about this. Just more of the same from idiots.

I do think it's hilarious - OH, and C. Scott's dead on - We'd have an outrage if it was GOP-related.

Indeed. And a hypocrite, for reasons stated.

Steve-
There was a total lack of outrage from Scott and R when Obama effigies were hung during the campaign. It was just good, clean (racist) GOP fun.

C.Scott Shields Esq. WWW.lawyersgonewild.com- So exactly what is my take on this? I dont remember voicing an opinion other than being critical of this conservative blog taking aim at Obama for something he had no control over. But I didnt voice an opinion on the act itself.
So if I were to say, this is no big deal, you would be critical of me by saying that if it were Bush or McCain, I'd be screaming. If I said it was a disgrace, you'd accuse me of trying to be politicaly correct. So I'll let you decide what my opinion on this should be.

Sounds like Randal is still licking his wounds over the election. He must be traumatized by the thought of having to call a black man Mr. President. Even more so at the thought of having to admit that I was right about the outcome. At least he's consistant. Consistantly wrong.

Shields will need to look up the rules on "groping a cardboard cutout" in his Bible and get back to you on that.

"anonymous - so those effigies were confirmed not to be from hillary supporters? Same for the palin effigy?"

The effigies of Obama were from racist McCain supporters. It was long after the primaries when Hillary was no longer a candidate and had nothing to do with her.

As for Palin, I think there were (and still are) a lot of Republicans with inflatable "effigies" of her. They did (do) to her plastic "surrogate" what Bush/Cheney have been doing to the country for the past 8 years.

i keep an effigy of Barack Obama in my living room. When I hear his speeches on the television in my living room, it is as if he is speaking to me in person. Oh, if I only had the money, I would attend his innauguration wearing all my Obama Apparel!

This would be funnier if Rachel Maddow was doing the groping.

But she's too busy with Pelosi.
