Spencerblog, Heron's Nest: We Know Jack!
Meet Daily Times legends Editor Phil Heron, Sports Columnist Jack McCaffery, and General Columnist Gil Spencer at the Granite Run Mall, Thursday (tomorrow) Dec. 18, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., in front of the upstairs entrance to Boscov's.
Pick the topic and we'll expound on it with eloquence and expertise worthy of men in the newspaper business for a combined total almost 320 years.
Have a question, ask it. Have an opinion? Let 'er fly. Have a shoe, keep it on your foot. We're the journalists here.

Between the three of you and you 320 combined years of experience - I am left scratching my hairless head. Phil looks older than you (not by much), and you look older than Jack. Therefore to distribute the difference in ages between Phil and you, and then you and Jack, I am hinking that it makes Phil 115 years old, you 105, and Jack 100. A bunch of old men!

You're way off.
None of us got into the business until we were in our 20s.
Will you be wrapping presents?
Only if it's something really nice.
Be sure to bring earplugs in case anon-iano and his flamboyant crew show up to make a scene in order to promote whatever cause they're for. I'll be in Detroit tomorrow by the time you guys sit down at that table tomorrow.
If you reschedule or do a second night before the holidays, I'd be happy to show up, although I have a feeling that I'd spend my time having a good debate with Jack over the quality of certain members on the Eagles roster (e.g. Sheldon Brown = overrated)
I missed something in the post, your use of the word 'legend'. I think I shold replicate it - So if you don't mind, I'd like to give my own plug:
"Meet legendary blogger-hanger Steve McDonald this Saturday at the Old State on State Rd between 2-3pm as he will enjoy a couple beers and 20 wings in between house projects and Christmas Shopping. (No Autographs please)"
You guys putting out a tip jar?
Scott - Nice picture. New Girl friend?
I saw the pictures online this morning Gil, sorry I missed it.
I'm considering having one of you printed on a mug and sent to Anonymous-iano.
On the flip side, I may have one made with Phil Heron's picture and sent to Randal.
It's a Spencerblog Christmas after all!
Gil - Why not put together another night at the crest?
Sorry I missed this. Sounds like fun. Plus, it would have been an excuse to go to the mall.
Bob:
That is one of my pups, a very fine female Doberman. Sweeter than most women I know, but not my girlfriend. All of my girfriends are equally beautiful though and equally fine.
Perhaps you can tell me how to post to this to make sure that I get emailed all subsequent responses, since I can't figure out how to do that.
Thanks.

Scott - Of course you know I'm just teasing you. Besides, that dog is way to good looking for you. But I just have to ask. You have the arsenal. You have the Dobermans. Do you have razor wire around your compound in Rutledge?
