The Audacity of Leftists
Thomas Frank trashes moderation and urges the Obama Administration to be audacious, which is to say, leftist.
More taxes, more spending, more regulation, more pro labor union, more radical.
What would you expect from a man who calls Bill Ayers his friend.
Meanwhile, Obama has reportedly met with conservative pundits, George Will, David Brooks and Bill Kristol.
Smart.

Gil - Tom DeLay had his strategy - Republicans under his leadership learned "to start every policy initiative from as far to the political right as we could." The effect was to "move the center farther to the right," drawing the triangulating Clinton along with it. Obama is every bit as smart as DeLay, if not more so. I think his leadership style will be well thought out, reasonable, and he will be the uniter that Bush wanted to be. More spending? That was Bush, wasn't it? More regulation? Sounds like the final days of the Bush administration. More taxes? Well, I guess we could always borrow the money from China to pay for Bush's war.
Meeting with Bill Kristol is a GREAT strategy as long as you do the exact opposite of whatever he suggests.
