Mockery Is the Sincerest Form of Flattery
When Hillary mocked Obama for his professed faith in bipartisanship she was right.
It hasn't turned out that way. It's George Bush's fault.

It's too early for Obama to give up on bipartisonship ... he's going to need Republican votes to make progress against the rest of his agenda.
I don't agree with all of the attached article, but the section regarding why Obama needs Republicans is compelling.

A lot of people brag about how Obama got things done quickly .... but everybody forgets that quick usually means POOR QUALITY.
When it comes to money, making decisions quickly (like going to a car dealer and buying the 1st "pretty" car you see and paying sticker price) eventually ends up being a bad investment.
In this case, it is obvious that the "stimulus package" is nothing more than a "super pork-barrel package". Very little (if any) of it will actually generate new LONG TERM jobs and the part that barely addresses the foreclosure problem includes so many "buts" that hardly anybody will qualify for the option.
Rushing things just to look good is a sign of a bad, inexperience leader. Not a sign a greatness.
