Had to turn that one off after the childish hagiography of the Reagan era, with the whopper "he slowed the growth of government spending". Here's a libertarian free markets read on that line of bologna:http://mises.org/freemarket_detail.aspx?control=488

Points out that even Carter was more effective at cutting government growth.

And while we're at it, can we stop insulting the readers about the Bush bailout?

What's Klavan talking about? He sounds more like Cliff Clavin the know-it-nothing from Cheers.

Reagan cut taxes on the wealthy and expanded military and other spending to produce record deficits.

The monster that keeps trying to rise from the grave is the conservative economic policy that got us into this mess.

If the economy recovers under Obama, maybe he'll be the Van Helsing putting the stake in this right wing monstrosity.

I don't remember President and Nancy Reagan having a $250,000 night out on the taxpayer's dime.
The poor baby is so stressed reading that teleprompter that he needed a big date to the Big Apple. This is how all the community organizers spend their Saturday nights -- wasting other people's money.
An obvious case of really bad judgment in a bad economy that he's failing to correct.
