Spinning Wheel

I began this week vowing to eat healthier.

But I'm already sick to my stomach -- and it's only Monday.

The spin doctors are out in full force.

CNN is overwrought with ads from special interest groups spewing mountains of misinformation about the health care bill that awaits our elected misleaders once they return from the type of month-long summer vacation they have over in France (the No. 1 place in the world for wine, love and health care).

I'm sure these ads, like termites to rotting wood, are all over the radio airwaves (a great way to scare our seniors) and other all-news channels and network television.

Meanwhile, one of the most sickening propaganda sites on the Internet -- PhiladelphiaEagles.com -- has declared Sunday night's Flight Night a "success."

Oh really?

During this split-squad scrimmage -- under the lights at Lincoln Financial Field (primarily for losers who believe they lost out by not going to Blue-White games because they didn't go to Penn State) -- the Eagles lost their pro-bowl caliber middle linebacker Stewart Bradley for the season with a knee injury.

There go my hopes for the Super Bowl I long to see just once before I die.

And the song goes on ...

"What goes up must come down
Spinnin' wheel got to go 'round
Talkin' 'bout your troubles it's a cryin' sin
Ride a painted pony let the spinnin' wheel spin

You got no money and you got no home
Spinnin' wheel all alone
Talkin' 'bout your troubles and you never learn
Ride a painted pony let the spinnin' wheel turn

Did you find the directing sign on the
Straight and narrow highway
Would you mind a reflecting sign
Just let it shine within your mind
And show you the colors that are real

Someone is waiting just for you
Spinnin' wheel, spinnin' true

Gordy My Man, I feel for you. Get in shape so that when the BIG SEASON arrives you are ready. The Shoulder Pads that now fit your new healthy bod should make you feel better. The Flight Night was a success but not for Bradley. Now,go back over the lineup and check to see who in your estimation could fill his shoulder pads. Keep eating healthful foods until the fall season is here and then JUNK TIME TIME!

No man never have. But look at Reed. Not too bad, but there is much more to be done to that body before The Season really starts. We want Gordy in shape to enjoy the season with all the trimmings.

The palinistas are spiraling out of countrol, and now that quitting loser palin is backing off of her shrieking that health care reform will mean death camps for old people. She joins the long list in the party of No, including rove, limbaugh, malkin, coulter and the rest. John McCain's daughter is making more sense than those squeaking naysayers.

You took the words right out of my mouth. It must've been while you were kissing me.

Will misinformation kill reform? I want to fear the reaper (the GOP) but I do.

Great. So now we can look forward to more Springsteen articles. Eagles, Springsteen and your dog have accounted for 75% of your columns over the last 10 years. Way to push that journalistic envelope. Cant wait to read what is next.
